AMC unveiled a teaser for the series second season, and it finds McGill beginning to sever himself from his own identity and expanding his legal skills into even more duplicitous territory, like faking evidence.

Ive been doing the right thing for all these years and where has it gotten me? Nowhere, McGill says in the teaser. The second season also features the return of McGills love interest Kim Wexler (played by Rhea Seehorn), gang member Nacho (Michael Mando) and Breaking Bad vet Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), whose own journey into the criminal world mirrors that of McGills.

The first season of Better Call Saul featured a few callbacks to Breaking Bad in addition to Odenkirk and Banks, Raymond Cruz also reprised his drug lord Tuco Salamanca and according to Aaron Paul, who played Jesse Pinkman on Breaking Bad, even more surprises are in store for Season Two. However, Paul stopped short of revealing whether Pinkman would pop up next season, even though Paul offered his services to co-creator Vince Gilligan.

Hopefully I will be involved, Paul told Variety at the Television Critics Associations press tour. But I dont know when that may be. Im not going to say anything more. But Im absolutely open to the idea. Hopefully it happens. Im all about it. Pressed on whether Pinkman might appear this season, Paul added, All I can say is I do know is there are some very exciting surprises coming up in the second season in Better Call Saul. So I highly, highly recommend watching the show.

Paul also said a Pinkman cameo, if and when on Better Call Saul, would be done in the most beautiful way, because theres no way theyre going to bring Jesse Pinkman back just to bring him back. Theyre going to bring him back and the audience is going to be very excited not just to see him, but to see how it all unfolded.
