Love Actually Cast to Reunite for Red Nose Day Special

UPDATE: NBC released a teaser for the Love Actuallycast reunion as part of their May 25th Red Nose Dayspecial. Watch the cast update the famed cue card scene above.

The majority of the Love Actually cast will reunite in a short, quasi-sequel set to premiere for Red Nose Day in March.

Liam Neeson, Keira Knightley, Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Andrew Lincoln and Bill Nighy are among those from the cast of the 2003 rom-com that will appear. The reunion was organized byLove Actually director Richard Curtis, one of the co-creators of Comic Relief and the annual Red Nose Day, which aims to raise funds and awareness to end child poverty.

I would never have dreamt of writing a sequel to Love Actually, but I thought it might be fun to do 10 minutes to see what everyone is now up to. Who has aged best? I guess thats the big question, said Curtis. Weve been delighted and grateful that so many of the cast are around and able to take part and itll certainly be a nostalgic moment getting back together and recreating their characters 14 years later.

Emma Thompson is the lone major character not partaking in the Where are they now? sequel, perhaps due to the death of Alan Rickman, who played her adulterous husband in the film, according to the Guardian.

The Love Actually follow-up will premiere during BBC1s coverage of Red Nose Day in the United Kingdom on March 24th; the segment will air on NBC during the United States designated Red Nose Day on May 25th.
