Miley Cyrus, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis Set for New Years Rockin Eve


Miley Cyrus and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis will join Ryan Seacrest in Times Square on December 31st for Dick Clarks New Years Rockin Eve. Blondie and Icona Pop have also been added to the lineup, Billboard reports. They join a previously announced West Coast lineup, hosted by Fergie, that includes Fall Out Boy, Robin Thicke, Florida Georgia Line, Jennifer Hudson and Enrique Iglesias.

Blondie made their debut on New Years Rockin Eve 40 years ago, in 1979. Their return to Times Square this year will make their first appearance on the program in 30 years.

Cyrus and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have had plenty to celebrate in 2013. She released a buzzed-about new album, Bangerz, and made waves with her twerk-heavy performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis had a breakout year that last week included a trio of sold-out hometown concerts at KeyArena in Seattle. Both Cyrus and Macklemore appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone this year, Cyrus in September and Macklemore in August.

Dick Clarks New Years Rockin Eve will begin at 8 p.m. EST on ABC on December 31st.
