Sarah Silverman, Seth Rogen, Key & Peele Kick Off New Web Variety Series


Sarah Silvermancorralled a whole bunch of funny friends, including Seth Rogen, John C. Reilly, Key & Peele and Tig Notaro, to contribute to the inaugural episode of Rubberhead, a new comedy variety showfrom Vimeo and the comedy collective JASH.

Silverman hosts the first episode, and as she succinctly introduces itin the trailer, Welcome to a night of weird. The succession of clips includes everything from Rogen and Silverman engaging in some some high-octane cop action to a man with a weirdly shaped head chucking a Big Gulp at an innocent pedestrian. If you want all that plus a bouncy castle the entire 45-minute episode is available to buynow for just $4.99.

In a statement, creator Daniel Kellison described Rubberhead as a no holds-barred show without the middleman. Silverman hand-picked the contributors forRubberheads first episode, scoring not just big names, but a stackedroster of comedy nerd all-stars as well, includingNathan Fielder (of Nathan for You and the creator of Dumb Starbucks), Todd Glass, Brett Gelman, Lauren Lapkus, Harris Wittels, Paul Rust, Shelby Fero and Natasha Leggero. Charlyne Yi also contributeda new animation, and rapper 2Chainz even makes a cameo in a skit with Key & Peele.
