Watch Ed Sheeran Sing Campfire Song, Eat Rabbit on Game of Thrones

Ed Sheeran appeared on the Game of Thrones Season Seven premiere. The songwriter appeared around a campfire with a crew of Lannisters, eating rabbit and crooning the unofficially-titled Hands of Gold. The song first appeared in A Storm of Swords, George R.R. Martins 2000 installment of the Song of Ice and Fire series.

For hands of gold are always cold, but a womans hands are warm, the grinning Sheeran sang, as Arya Stark happened upon the dining Lannister clan. Its a new one, the musician explained in close-up.

Sheeran celebrated the cameo on Instagram, posting a selfie with himself and Arya Stark actress Maisie Williams. But the overall fan reaction to the scene was mixed, as evidenced by the Instagram comments, which ranged from Squad goals to I wanted u to die.
