Ron Burgundy Plots Comeback in Anchorman 2 Trailer

Ron Burgundy faces many trials in the latest trailer for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, in which he learns that women can hold positions of authority, gay men dont sleep in coffins and cruise-control doesnt mean what he thought it did.

The follow-up to Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy tracks the Channel 4 news team as they relocate to New York, where theyve landed jobs with the nascent Global News Network. But where Burgundy (played by Will Ferrell) was the toast of San Diego, hes more of a fish out of water in the big city and ittakes one to know one, if a quick scene of him bottle-feeding a shark is any indication.

Ron isnt the only one with problems: Brick Tamland (Steve Carell) returns from the dead, sort of, only to lose his legs, sort of, when new-fangled technology gets in the way of his first weather forecast on the new network.

The movie, due in theaters on December 20th, also features returning actors Paul Rudd as Brian Fantana, Christina Applegate as Veronica Corningstone and Vince Vaughn as Wes Mantooth, along with a roster of new names, including Harrison Ford, Jim Carrey, Sacha Baron Cohen, Kristen Wiig, Liam Neeson, Nicole Kidman, Tiny Fey and Amy Poehler. Drake and Kanye West have also been spotted filming cameos for the movie.

Ferrell is keeping busy in the meantime, appearing as Ron Burgundy in TV ads for Dodge.
