Watch Black Keys Feed the Fever for Austin City Limits


The Black Keysare spreading the Fever,as the legendary concert series Austin City Limits prepares to return with seven new episodes of its 40th season. In a new exclusive preview clip from the Black Keys forthcoming episode, the Nashville-via-Akron duo kick out a taut, twisting rendition of the Turn Bluesingle that spirals into a crunchy concluding freakout.

Austin City Limits returns to PBS on January 3rd with a performance from the Avett Brothers and bluegrass trio Nickel Creek. Austin hometown heroes Spoon will share the stage with one of the citys best up-and-coming acts, White Denim, on January 10th, followed by Sam Smith and Future Islands on the 17th and Ryan Adams and Jenny Lewis on the 24th.

The Black Keys will follow up their 2011 ACL appearance on January 31st, joined by J. Roddy Walston & the Business, while the Foo Fighters hour-long concert, featuring special guestsGary Clark Jr. and Jimmie Vaughan, airs on February 7th.

ACL will close out its 40th anniversary season on February 14th with an airing of the firstAustin City Limits Hall of Fame special, which will feature performances from Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Buddy Guy, Lyle Lovett and Double Trouble. AmongACLs inaugural Hall of Fame classareNelson, Double Trouble and Stevie Ray Vaughn, as well as the shows creator, Bill Arhos, and University of Texas football coach Darrell K. Royal.

The special marksACLs second big 40th season concert, following their all-star anniversary special, which aired in October and was hosted by Jeff Bridges, Sheryl Crowand Matthew McConaughey. The two-hour show boasted performances from a slew of artists including Bonnie Raitt, Alabama Shakes Brittany Howard, Kris Kristofferson, the Foo Fighters and Robert Randolph.
