Watch Tom Hanks Recreate Filmography with James Corden


Tom Hankshas delivered countless tour de force performances throughout his career, but the actor outdid himself on the inaugural episode of The Late Late Show with James CordenMonday, recreating the bulk of his filmography in a hilarious, frantic segment with the new host.

In under eight minutes, Hanks and Corden blasted through classic moments in movies like Forrest Gump (Life is like a box of chocolates), A League of Their Own (Theres no crying in baseball!) and Big, during which the pair expertly recreated the Down Down Baby rap and dance. Hanks also allowed for clever twists on some of his most famous pictures, proclaiming during the Saving Private Ryan segment thatthe guy theyre searching for looks a little like Matt Damon!

Elsewhere, Hanks plastered a red handprint on Cordens face and hollered Wilson! while later looking deep into the Mona Lisa her famous face replaced by Cordens still scarlet countenance and declaring, Wow, those eyes really do follow you around.

Finally, Hanks brought Toy Storys Sheriff Woody to life, flailing his arms around like the CGI cowboy before he and Corden (as Buzz Lightyear) closed out the bit with a rousing rendition of Randy Newmanstheme, Youve Got a Friend in Me.

Hanks has a number of projects lined up for 2015 and beyond, including the October 16th release ofBridge of Spies.The film, which Steven Spielberg directed,finds the actor playing a lawyersent to the Soviet Union to negotiate the release of a pilot whose plane was shot down.Hanks also recently played a starring role in the video for Carly Rae Jepsens, I ReallyLike You,in which he lip-synced the lyrics to the Canadian pop-stars bubbly new single.
