Jimmy Kimmel Live!s post-Oscar specials usually feature a star-studded fake movie trailer, like Movie: The Movie, but this year, the late-night host switched things up by recruiting A-listers like Jeff Bridges, Lupita Nyongo and Matt Damon (or Damen, as its spelled) to enroll inThe Kimmel School of Perfect Acting. For the sketch, the host portrays Jim Kimmel, a Whiplash-ian teacher of the performing arts with the reputation of being the greatest, most prolific and revered acting coach who ever lived.
Kimmels overly method approach to acting includes criticizing Oscar winner Eddie Redmaynes British accent for sounding too much like its from the Philippines, commanding Susan Sarandon to fill a measuring cup with tears, disciplining Sean Penn with a pool noodle and teaching Jennifer Aniston the art of the Distrust Fall. However, the highlight comes when Gary Oldman, after revealing that Kimmel said the actor couldnt act his way out of a paper bag, must perform Shakespeare inside a life-sized paper bag with Gary written on it. Oldman is later forced to walk Kimmels five piglets.

Kimmels annual post-Oscar bash also featured an Academy Awards edition of the late-night shows long-running Lie Witness News. Kimmel proves that because theres a lot of pressure to have an opinion on this years nominees in Hollywood, people will say anything to make sure they sound like theyre in the loop, even if its about a fake movie.
