Charli XCX and Lizzo have teamed up for the upbeat, lovesick new song Blame It On Your Love. The track is XCXs first new release this year.

Blame It On Your Love was originally heard in the more minimalPop 2closer Track 10. On the new incarnation of the track, a beat reminiscent of Lumidees Never Leave You (Uh Oh) underlays a tale of being reckless and selfish, as XCX describes herself in her relationship. Lizzo joins for a rap-sung guest verse towards the end of the song. Im tryin to catch millions/Not tryin to catch feelings, she says at the end of her verse.

Since dropping two mixtapes in 2017, XCX has been unveiling a steady string of new singles including Girls Night Out and the Troye Sivan-assisted 1999. Last year, she joined Taylor Swift on the singersReputationWorld Tour.
