Watch John Oliver Chug Bud Light Lime, Say Goodbye to Sepp Blatter

After Sepp Blatter was re-elected to a fifth term as FIFA president on May 29, Last Week Tonight host John Oliver made an impassioned plea to the organizations sponsors to pull their support, in the hopes of bringing an end to his reign. In exchange, hed do the unthinkable: Down a Bud Light Lime on national television and proclaim it to be (gasp!) delicious.

Budweiser, if you pull your support and help get rid of Blatter, I will put my mouth where my mouth is and I will personally drink one of your disgusting items, Oliver said. I will even drink a Bud Light Lime.

As if that wasnt enough torture for one man to endure, Oliver also said hed take a bite from everything on McDonalds Dollar Menu and wear Adidas absurd Wings 3.0 gold shoes, which retailfor an equally absurd$250.

Of course, while hoping for change, Oliver probably thought he was in the clear. Despite an international scandal that led to 14 FIFA officials being indictedon corruption charges, Blatter was adamant that he would stay in office and he seemed to have the support necessary to do just that. But, as you know, just four days after winning re-election, Blatter shocked the soccer world by announcing he would resign as head of the sports governing body.

Understandably, that was cause for celebration, and Oliver was ready to break out the bubbly. Even if said bubbly tastes more like Jolly Green Giants ejaculate. So, on Sunday nights episode, Oliver proved to be a man of his word, not only sporting those Adidas shoes and choking down everything on McDonalds value menu, but chugging (almost) an entire bottle of Bud Light Lime.

And as if that wasnt enough, he also vowed to take on former FIFA vice president Jack Warner accused of churning up millions of dollars of bribes on his home turf, answering Warners 7-minute rebuttal of the charges against him (which he paid to have broadcast on Trinidadian television) with a special of his own: John Oliver: The Mittens of Disapproval Are On, which (no lie) will air Tuesday at 9:01 p.m. on Trinidads TV 6 preempting the first five minutes of a Mike & Molly rerun. Youre a good man, John Oliver.
