Watch Empire Cast Play a Happy Family in Youre So Beautiful Video

Even after its heart-stopping season finale, Foxs breakout hit Empire can still find ways to assert its dominance over both TV and music. The new video forYoure So Beautiful combinesa number of smiling, upbeat clips of the dysfunctional Lyon family.

The video culls from scenes that were the catalystfor the familys anguish over Empires first season. With middle son Jamal Lyon (Jussie Smollett) taking the lead on the song that made patriarch Lucious a megastar, the video focuses mainly on Jamals debut public performance of Youre So Beautiful.

On the show, the same white party performance served as the launch spot for Jamals coming out, carefully changing the words to make the songs subject a male and to upset his homophobic father. The official Youre So Beautiful clip focuses on the smiling family at the party and recording together in the studio; fitting moments for the lighthearted, upbeat song.
