See SNL Answer Burning Stranger Things Question in Clever Spoof

Saturday Night Live tackled one of Stranger Things more perplexing unanswered questions on the Lin-Manuel Miranda-hosted episode: Why are these kids just allowed to be out at all hours of the night without adult supervision?

In the sketch, a sneak preview of Season 2, Lucas parents played by Leslie Jones and Kenan Thompson demand that their son halt his search for Will in the Upside-Down netherworld. Its like the normal world, but its scary and theres danger at every turn, Lucas explains to his parents. Jones responds, Baby, people who look like us already live in the upside-down.

The sketch does a crafty job of pinpointing all the absurdities of the smash Netflix series, from Winona Ryders character talking to Christmas lights to Mirandas impression of the cleidocranial dysplasia-suffering Dustin to the police chief who spends a creepy amount of time hanging out with kids.

SNLs Stranger Things also jokes that, in a world with a demogorgon on the loose, the real monster for Lucas parents is the police.
