Seinfeld Sails on a Segway in New Trailer for Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee

Jerry Seinfeld calls out the many shows that have ripped him off while riding a segway in the new season trailer for Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which returns to Netflix on July 19th.

Here at Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, we have noticed that we have shall we sayinfluenced a number of other shows, he quips, manically careening back and forth while listing the many ridiculous shows that have stolen the shows concept: Clergy in Cars Getting Coffee, Comedians on Bikes Getting Soup, Cougars in Cars Getting Cosmos, and so on.These are all real shows! he exclaims. And we are proud that others have taken notice of our style and have been inspired by it. The only comment we would like to make is: if youre going to knock us off, get it right!

The clip then segues to the many guests Seinfeld will hit the road with this season, from Jamie Foxx to Melissa Villaseor to Martin Short. As proven with the previous ten seasons of the show, Seinfeld does more than drink coffee with these comedians he eats trendy avocado toast with Ricky Gervais, questions Seth Rogen why he has a beard (I realized I could change the shape of my head, he says) and goes to a deli with Sebasian Maniscalo. At one moment, he eats pastries in silence at Joe Coffee Company with Matthew Broderick. Oh, were really just eating? he asks Seinfeld, puzzled. Were not saying anything entertaining?

Back on the segway, Seinfeld rides away from the screen. Once youre on it, you wanna stay on it, he mutters to himself. Why would I want to walk?
