Jason Isbell Breezes Through Stockholm on Letterman

Jason Isbell is riding a wave of acclaim for his latest album, Southeastern, that brought him last night to the Late Show With David Letterman, where the Alabama singer and songwriter performed the new song "Stockholm." Isbell played acoustic guitar and sang, while Amanda Shires (his wife) added vocal harmonies and threaded violin lines through the rootsy, lilting tune. Afterward, Letterman drew chuckles from the band when he said, "I'll tell you how much I love these people: I once drove all the way to Montana to see them play. It was tremendous."
