Samantha Beetook on Fox News for discrediting the FBI and Special Counsel Robert Muellers investigation into possible ties between President Donald Trumps campaign and Russia on Full Frontal.
The networks indignation was spurred by the release of two agents text messages, in which they expressed anti-Trump sentiments like F Trump and Hillary Clinton has to win. They also called Trump an idiot and a douche, causing Bee to crack, That is not fair douches are obsolete, gross and poison for vaginas. Oh, wait, no, you know what? That checks out.
Bee pointed out that the text messages were no more inflammatory than the numerous negative statements prominent Republicans like Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham made about Trump during the 2016 election. Furthermore, Bee noted, the FBI and Mueller removed the agents from the investigation months ago once they learned of their texts. And while Trump administration officials have insisted thatthe President wont use the texts as cause to fire Mueller, Trump cant fire Mueller anyway though he has reportedly been upset with the one person who can, Deputy U.S. Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.
As a classic bully, of course Trump would rather fire the scrawny little guy whos basically a grown-up Millhouse, Bee cracked. But firing Mueller isnt even the real goal, since that would get Trump into even more trouble. The goal is to weaken his reputation so that Republicans can ignore their findings. Not that Republicans would ever ignore credible charges against one of their own, Bee added, as a picture of Roy Moore flashed behind her.
