Watch Thom Yorke, Flea Reunite to Perform Atoms For Peace

Radioheads Thom Yorkeand Red Hot Chili Peppers Fleaare in Paris this week to attend Pathway to Paris, which brings together musicians, artists, sustainability consultants and activists to discuss climate change solutions leading up to the UN climate change meeting. Gearing up before those events take place, the Atoms for Peacebandmates stopped by French TV show Le Grand Journal. The duo performed Atoms For Peace from Yorkes solo album, The Eraser.

The pair were also interviewed during the show, joined by author, filmmaker and social activist Naomi Klein. They discussed climate change and the sold-out Pathway to Paris concert and events. Im here because as much as I am shocked and saddened by completely hair-brained politicians saying that climate change is not real and that the globe is not warming as a result of human activity, Im also, my heart is warmed by all the people that have so much love and care for the planet, Flea said.

Its only this summit where the disinformation campaign thats being conducted by oil companieshas finally ceased to work, added Yorke. And we as a global people now accept the signs. Theres no more arguments, but unfortunately the mechanics of creating an agreement havent really caught up with that. Were still in a situation where were leaving it to an outdated mechanisms, were leaving it to corporate lobbyists, were leaving it to politicians whose information is bought and it makes me nervous that they are the ones in charge of this. However, this is all weve got.

Patti Smith is also participating in Pathways to Paris, which takes place December 4thand 5th.
