One skit, titled Donald Trumps Hair, was cut for time, but SNL shared the five-minute-long clip on their official YouTube channel Wednesday.
Donald Trumps Hair stars SNL cast members Taran Killam, Cecily Strong, Bobby Moynihan and Jay Pharoah in the role of Scalp Team 6, a specially trained team that is shrunk down to microscopic size in order to protect President Trumps hair from its deadliest adversary: wind. The team is called into action when Trump travels to meet with Vladimir Putin in breezy Russia. The Scalp Team 6 members are then picked off one by one by Trumps deadly do, which for some reason houses a Yeti.
As The Daily Beast notes, one reason that the sketch may have been cut was its likeness to a Simpsons short that premieredfour months ago, with Homer Simpson similarly shrunken down toFantastic Voyage-style to explore Trumps bizarre follicle forest. Its also possiblethe SNL sketch just wasnt funny enough for the main show, as the skits dearth of audience laughter can attest.
