Comedy Centrals breakout hit Broad Cityis returning for a new 10-episode season on January 14th. But fans can satisfy their comedic cravings with the abovetrailer, which teases the reliably bizarre New York City misadventures of theshows co-stars and primary writers, Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer.
Its a hilarious, gleefully profane two minutes crammed with twerking,titty chips, bong hits, blow-dried crotches and white power suits. At one point, Glazer tells a loudmouth street-walker tosuck [her] fucking dick, and the clip ends with Jacobson and Seth Rogen randomly shouting at a kitten.
Jacobson and Glazer, alumnae of the NYC improv comedy group Upright Citizens Brigade, createdBroad City as a web series that ran from2009 to 2011. They eventually attracted the attention ofParks and Recreationstar (and UCB co-founder) Amy Poehler, who helped the duosecure a series deal with Comedy Central. The show, which premiered in January 2014, focuses on two friends slacker-stoner Ilana Wexler and struggling artist Abbi Abrams and their battles with poverty and dead-end relationships.
One of Season Ones more memorable episodes featured a parody of Missy Elliots video for The Rain and a Drake-sampling cold-open.
