Watch James Corden, Craig Robinson Sing Sexy Public Domain Songs

The Late Late Shows James Corden has found his late-night TV niche with his singing. For his latest sketch, Corden and guest Craig Robinson either slowed down or funked up a collection of classic public domain songs.

Lets start with a soulful little number about a certain young lady with a little something special, Robinson said as he sat behind the piano on stage. The pair then crooned Mary Had a Little Lamb, which let Corden show off his excellent vocal chops. With a song that timeless, who needs Kanye. Am I right? Corden joked. Kanye wishes he could write a song about a lamb that good, Robinson added.

Next, the duo turned up For Hes a Jolly Good Fellow, funkified The Wheels on the Bus and teased the much-copyrighted Rolling Stones classic (I Cant Get No) Satisfaction before Corden reminded Robinson that performing that track would cost the shows entire budget.

They ended the segment with takes on Shell Be Coming Round the Mountain and Itsy Bitsy Spider. The former received a psychedelic, Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds treatment while the latter was transformed into a emotional, soulful dedication to a friend of Robinsons who never, ever gave up.

Other musically-inclined sketches on Cordens Late Late Show have included the recurring Carpool Karaoke, which has featured guests like Rod Stewart, Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey singing their own songs in a car that Corden drives around Los Angeles. Last month, the hostwas able to show off his dance moves when he reenacted Paula Abduls Opposites Attract video with the singer live on stage.
