Last night Stephen Colbert had a lot to say about President Trumps ongoing feud with Elizabeth Warren over her Native American heritage. The Democratic senator, whom Trump often refers to as Pocahontas, confirmed via DNA testing that she does, in fact, have Native American ancestry, to which Trump has responded, Who cares?
After playing a clip of Warrens video confirming the test results, where she speaks withCarlos Bustamante, a professor of genetics at Stanford University, Colbert affirmed that this tells us something very important. You heard them right, the host said. This test accurately reveals with a high confidence that Elizabeth Warren is running for president.That we know. It came back positive.
Colbert also addressed Trumps lack of interest in the test results, which he himself has been calling for.Last July Trump said during a rally that if he had been debating Warren he would have offered her $1 million to a charity of her choice if she agreed to take a DNA test that shows youre an Indian. Now Colbert is surprised to see that Trump isnt following through on his promises.

Colbert added, calling back to Trumps initial speech when he claimed Warren would like refuse the test, Well, Mr. President, she didnt say no. She said yes. But rumor has it, you dont know the difference. He concluded the segment by noting, We dont have to wait for the presidents DNA. Hes 100 percent douche.
