After filming his late-night show at Comic-Con for two straight years, Conan OBrienhas started to think hes an expert at everything comic book-related. But he couldnt earn his nerd credentials until passing the official Comic-Con citizenship test, administered by Star Wars: The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams.
The filmmaker dropped by Conans temporary San Diego event, quizzing the host on all matters sci-fi/fantasy. Abrams fired off difficult questions (In the Lord of the Rings trilogy, what city is the capitol of Gondor?), as OBriens answers grew more surreal and comedic. Asked Who is the star of both Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World?, the host responded, CGI. When asked to give Vin Diesels real name, he fired back, Truck Laser Tank.
Elsewhere in the rapid-fire test, OBrien recalled the two movies that preceded Star Trek: Beyond (Star Trek: Bed and Star Trek: Bath), described what happens to the aging male sex drive (The Force A-Weakens) and cited Donald Trump as the big, angry comic book character who looks like hes made of orange rocks.
