With the sixth season of Game of Thronesarriving in less than two weeks, HBO has offered up another two-minute look teasing what fans can expect. While the first trailerfor Season Six focused on bloodshed and warfare, the latest preview offers a glimpse into the rising tensions that lead to the battlefield as well as the aftermath of the carnage.
You would spill blood in this holy place? Jonathan Pryces High Sparrow asks Nikolaj Coster-Waldaus Jaime Lannister in one of the trailers many life-or-death encounters. The gods wont mind, Lannister barks back. Theyve spilled more blood than the rest of us combined.
Noticeably absent from the trailer: Any signs of life from Jon Snow, the beloved character who was killed off at the end of Season Five. While fans hold out hope that Snow might come back in some capacity, producers are insisting, Jon Snow is dead.(Another ominous sign of the characters fate: Actor Kit Harington did not attenda Season Six premiere party.)
