See Morgan Wallens Rousing Live Whiskey Glasses Video

Morgan Wallen turns in a thrilling live rendition of his current hit Whiskey Glasses in a new video that was released overnight. The song is the Knoxville, Tennessee, natives follow-up to the chart-topping Up Down and second single from his debut album If I Know Me.

Filmed during Wallens sold-out January 31st show at Nashvilles Marathon Music Works, the clip shows an audience already quite familiar with his work. I think this song right here could be special for all of us tonight, man, he tells the crowd, with his band dialing down the volume while he talks. This song is about the last time I got broken up with, he adds, laughing. From there he launches straight into the songs repetition-heavy bridge, supported by the enthusiastic crowd, before bringing it back around to the opening verse. It goes that way for the duration, Wallen alternately showing off his gritty vocals and letting the audience have a turn to sing a few lines.

Currently a Top 5 hit on the Mediabase country chart, Whiskey Glasses just hit Number One on Billboards Hot Country Songs on the same day Wallen celebrated his 26th birthday. Wallen also recently picked up a CMT Music Award nomination for Breakthrough Video of the Year for Whiskey Glasses.

This summer, Wallen will support Florida Georgia Lines Cant Say I Aint Country Tour, which gets underway June 13th. Hell follow that with another supporting gig, joining up with the fall leg of Luke Combs Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour beginning October 3rd.
