Hear Charli XCX, Haims Subdued New Song Warm

Charli XCX has released her latest collaborative track from her upcoming third studio album, Charli, out on September 13th. The song, Warm, features vocals from the band Haim, which describe a relationship on the rocks over a subdued electronic beat.

Youve gotta tell me the reason/Why we cant fall in love, Charli pleads in Autotune over and over in the songs chorus, which is also echoed by Haims trademark harmonies.

Its a really beautiful song and the idea actually came about because [producer A.G. Cook] sent me this demo of him singing just a melody, no lyrics, but it was so beautiful, and I sat with it for ages and just played it over and over again, XCX said in a statement. I really like it when A. G. sings, its always really inspiring to me so I wrote these lyrics, its about unrequited love or more just like when you are in it with someone and they are a player and you arent in that zone and you just cant get on the same page. Danielle, Este and Alana came over to our studio house and they wrote their part, we were in LA when we did that and Im just very happy we got to collaborate.
