Will Ferrell Will Absolutely Not Make Elf 2

Although Will Ferrell had no qualms about revisiting Anchorman after nine years to make Anchorman 2, the actor recently said he has no intentions of making a sequel to his 2003 movie Elf. In an interview this week with Andy Cohen on Bravos Watch What Happens Live, the sometime Santas helper said he would absolutely not make another Elf.I just think it would look slightly pathetic if I tried to squeeze back in the elf tights, he said, according to USA Today. Buddy the middle-aged elf.

Ferrell also said that the last time he felt shame about something was when he turned down dinner with Harrison Ford on the first day of filming Anchorman 2. He asked me to go to dinner by just saying, Dinner?' Ferrell said. And I said, No, I have some in my trailer, thinking hes just asking me if I literally have some dinner. And I realized, Oh, no, he just asked me out to dinner, and not only did I say no, in his mind, it was like, No way in Hell.

Ferrell is on the cover of Rolling Stone in full Ron Burgundy costume. Regarding the way the Anchorman legend has grown in the near-decade since it came out, he said he was just as surprised as everyone else. Anyone in comedy who says they knew something was gonna work is full of shit, Ferrell said. I want to keep making things where, potentially, I do turn off part of the audience. Because the percentage thats going, I cant believe this is happening, and I love itthats what I gravitate toward.

Its time to cross Elf 2: Buddy, the Middle-Aged Elfoff that list.
