See Chance the Rapper, Stephen Colbert Recreate Arthur Theme

The Late Shows Stephen Colbert and Jon Batiste partner with Ziggy Marley and Chance the Rapper to recreate the Arthur theme in a new video.

The web-only exclusive sprouted out of a conversation Colbert and his bandleader have about their mutual love of the PBS animated series. Most people dont know Ziggy Marley wrote and performed the theme song, so its always gonna be hot. Even Chance the Rapper covered it, Batiste told Colbert.

Colbert replied, Man, Arthur was such a good show. Sometimes I wish I could have been inside that show, you know what I mean? All animated and stuff. Singing along with friends, learning about cooperation.

Following an awkward silence and Colberts totally unrelated midday nap, the host daydreams of entering the world of Arthur, where Marley performs the theme song alongside Colbert, Batiste and Chance the Rapper, who drops in to help reenact the shows opening sequence.
