Brad Furman (The Lincoln Lawyer) calls the shots, using flashy editing to pretend hes not covering old ground. Ha! No deal. Affleck plays Ivan Black, an online gambling king threatened with a take-down at a Costa Rican poker gala by Princeton wiz kid Richie Furst (Justin Timberlake, wasting his potential). That is until wait for it he offers the kid a job. Then keep waiting for it the FBI in the person of Shavers (Anthony Mackie) persuades the kid to turn informer. The actors hit the jackpot, but only in terms of their paychecks. The audience gets a tension-free, tight-assed, Casino ripoff that leaves them thoroughly fleeced.
