Hear Tove Lo Join Forces With Kylie Minogue on Really Dont Like U

Tove Lo has dropped a new song from her forthcoming album Sunshine Kitty. The track, Really Dont Like U, features Kylie Minogue and follows the singers recent songs Jacques and Bad As The Boys.

Produced by Ian Kirkpatrick, the ambient pop number has a heartbroken vibe as Tove Lo croons, Why did I go to this party/ Thought I was done feeling sorry/ Know hell be here with somebody/ Why did it have to be you. The pairs airy vocals meld together over the chorus. The singer praised Minogues contribution on Instagram, writing, No Words. She melts my heart.

Even though its now out, I still cant believe Kylie is on Really Dont Like U!! Tove Lo said in a statement. Kylie and I met last year at an AMFAR event in Hong Kong; when she said she wanted to work together I made serious mental note! Once I felt I had the perfect song to share with her I just hoped she would love it and want to do her magical thing to it. She did, and I couldnt be more thrilled and honored to have someone I love and respect so much on this track and part of Sunshine Kitty.

Minogue added, Ive loved this opportunity to collaborate with Tove! It seemingly came out of nowhere, but when we met last year we said it would be great to work together and with Really Dont Like U came the perfect moment. She has that amazing Swedish pop sensibility but her very own style and has carved out her own path within the music industry.

Sunshine Kitty, Tove Los fourth album, will be released September 20th via Island Records. The album, recorded between Los Angeles and Sweden, features collaborations with ALMA, MC Zaac, Jax Jones and Doja Cat, along with Minogue. In a statement, the singer said the albums title is a play on pussy power, but its a happy, positive way of seeing it. She added, It ties in with the lynx. This cartoon cat (featured on the artwork) is an extension of me and part of the new music. Shes super cute, but she does stupid shit like getting in fights and getting fucked up. Its how I feel the album sounds.
