Drew Holcombs Moon River Fest: Jason Isbell, Brandi Carlile to Headline

Popular Americana live act Drew Holcomb has announced the lineup for his annual Moon River Music Festival. First launched in 2014, the weekend concert returns to Chattanooga, Tennessee, on September 7th and 8th with one of its strongest bills to date.

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit and new Grammy winner Brandi Carlile will headline the fest, which also features appearances by Holcomb with the Neighbors, and a solo show with his wife Ellie Holcomb. Other artists slated for Moon River include St. Paul & the Broken Bones, the Wood Brothers, Josh Ritter, the Lone Bellow, Johnnyswim, Rayland Baxter, Joy Williams and Devon Gilfillian.

Holcomb will also perform as part of a songwriters round with Heather Morgan and Marcus Hummon on the night prior to the festival at Chattanoogas Walker Theatre.

Tickets for Moon River, which was originally housed in the historic Memphis amphitheater where Elvis Presley played his first ticketed show, go on sale Wednesday, February 13th.

Holcomb and his wife Ellie released a new EP, Electricity, last month. A three-song project, it highlights the pairs personal and creative partnership and includes a cover of Willie Nelsons On the Road Again. Currently on tour with their You and Me Tour, the duo will play gigs in Michigan, South Carolina, Georgia and Texas this week, before heading to L.A. for a February 20th show at Largo.
