The first official trailer for Season Fiveof Girls has been unveiled, showing big moves for the characters in both their relationships and physical locations.
The clip opens with Hannah played by the shows creator Lena Dunham making out with Elijah (Andrew Rannells) in front of her new beau Fran (Jake Lacy). From there, fans cansee that Shoshanna has moved to Japan to escape her past and that Marnie is preparing for a wedding to an unknown new suitor, though Hannah seems to disapprove.
Girls is set to return to HBO on February 21st. Earlier this year, the showwas nominated for two Golden Globe Awards: Best Television Series, Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Comedy or Musical. As the cast filmed the upcoming season, they were joined by a young, famous intern: 17-year-old First Daughter Malia Obama.
