Where to Watch 2016 Primetime Emmy Awards


Televisions biggest stars will be taking over Los Angeles Microsoft Theater on Sunday, September 18th for the 68th annual Emmy Awards. Jimmy Kimmel will return to the Emmy stage for his second stint as host for the live show, which will begin promptly at 8 p.m. EST.

For those who want to tune in a bit early and see what the attendees are wearing, the red carpet coverage will begin at 7 p.m. EST on ABC. E! will begin their festivities with Countdown to the Red Carpet: The 2016 Emmy Awards at 4:30 p.m. EST followed by Live From the Red Carpet: The 2016 Emmy Awards at 6:00 p.m. EST, hosted by E! correspondents Giuliana Rancic and Jason Kennedy.

The award show proper will be available to stream live online for those with a TV provider login. ABC Go will begin livestreaming the show with the red carpet coverage and continue on through the ceremony.

This year, Game of Thrones, Mr. Robot, The People Vs. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story and Fargo received multiple nominations in major categories. Many have pegged this as the most diverse year in the shows nearly 70-year history, with performers like Taraji P. Henson, Aziz Ansari, Rami Malek, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Tracee Ellis Ross being recognized in major acting categories.

This years presenters include Anthony Anderson, Kristen Bell, Priyanka Chopra, Larry David, Randall Park, James Corden, Andy Samberg, Live Schreiber, Chris Rock, Constance Wu and more.
