Jimmy Kimmel unleashed comedian Jeff Ross on the Jimmy Kimmel Live offices Wednesday, letting the host of Comedy Centrals upcoming Roast Battle dispense some heat to everyone from the shows security guards to executive producers.
Ross started the segment with Kimmel fan-favorite, Guillermo, admiring the security guard-turned-sidekicks tiny office and remarking, Wow its like Trump built a wall around just you. Then, after needling one of Kimmels writing assistants (Jimmy, this guys watching James Corden), Ross laid into the boss himself: Oh look great, tonights monologue, Ross cracked, holding up the trash can behind Kimmels desk.
Ross joked of writer/supervising producer Gary Greenbergs wildly decorated office, Where do you shop Badwill? You got a dishonorable discharge from the Salvation Army. To writer Cousin Sal, Ross picked up on his plain blue shirt, I like your shirt. I didnt realize you were a pharmacist during the day.
But the burn caused Sal to seek revenge, wrestling an unsuspecting Ross to the couch and pinning him while the Roastmaster General cried, You gotta be able to take a joke in this world, people! Being a good sport is essential to roasting!
