Set to a somber, acoustic rendition of Chris Isaaks Wicked Game, performed by James Vincent McMorrow, the clips first half finds thevarious warring factions of Westeros taking stock of their lives: Jaime and Cersei Lannister plot their revenge, Daenerys Targaryen finds herself reunited with the Dothrakiand Tyrion Lannister warns, Youre in the great game now and the great game is terrifying.
As for those eagerly awaiting Game of Thrones bloodlust and rampant rampages, the final 40-seconds helpsthe trailer earn its red band designation. The quick-hits include slicing and dicing, a requisite steamy sex scene, soldiers firing a barrage of arrows and a sudden, but thrilling appearance of a White Walker behind Bran Stark.
Game of Thrones returns to HBO with the first of 10 new episodes on April 24th.
