Game of Thrones Touring Exhibition Launches in Fall

Game of Throneswill launch its latest worldwide touring exhibition this fall. The trek will begin in Europe. Its unclear when the exhibit will arrive in the United States.

The show will feature props, costumes and set decorations from the hit HBO show, as well as various immersive and interactive exhibits. Recreations of Westeros and Essos includes locales like Kings Landing, the North, the conquered city of Meereen, the House of Black and White, Castle Black, the lands Beyond the Wall and, of course, the Iron Throne Room.

HBO has partnered with GES Events to design the Game of Thronesexhibit. Game of Thrones hosted itsfirst traveling exhibit in 2013 when the series was in its third season.

The Game of Thrones exhibit will likely kick off after the show wraps its seventh and penultimate season, which begins July 16th. Season Seven will comprise seven episodes instead of the usual 10, while the premiere date was pushed from spring to summer to accommodate a different shooting schedule so that executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss could film while the weather changed to match the arrival of winter in Westeros.
