In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, T.I. said that works like Roots help embody the idea of historical justice. The quest for truth should be a lifelong journey, T.I. said. From the time youre born to the time you die, youre supposed to be seeking knowledge and truth. This is a piece of it. This is a huge, huge chapter, so I think its incredibly important.
