Billboard Music Awards 2019: Madonna, Maluma Perform Hologram-Enhanced Medellin

Madonna and several of her hologram doppelgngers performed a riveting version of Medelln with Maluma on Wednesday at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.

With a giant X representing her forthcoming Madame X on display, Madonna appeared laying on the stage, flanked by greenery scenes behind her. Soon, she wasnt the only Madonna on the stage, as various incarnations of her hologram self pranced and cha-chad around to the grooving tune. The performance included a lot of intriguing CGI to enhance the ever-evolving setting, which included rain and bursting blasts of color.

Madonna whom host Kelly Clarkson introduced as the legend herself perfectly executed the choreography with Maluma and several dancers. They performed across various stage setups and through the audience, their moves punctuated by fireworks.

Last month, Madonna teamed with Colombian pop darling Maluma for new song Medelln and released its accompanying video. The track is slated to appear on Madonnas forthcoming album, Madame X, out June 14th. Maluma will also appear on another Madame Xsong, Bitch Im Loca.
