Conan OBrienandWiz Khalifatested out Gears of War 4 for Conans Clueless Gamer segment on Thursday. But the clip was more about smoking weed, eating potato salad and joking about their lack of video game skills.
This is one of the most intense, brutal, violent and disturbing games out there, the comedian said to open the clip. I wanted to bring someone in who could help mellow out the vibe a little bit. Khalifa, prepared for the task at hand, quickly blazed up: I got a little bit of chill to give, he said.
OBrien expressed concern over the rappers slender frame and asked if hes been eating enough. Khalifa, a vegetarian, referred to weed as [his] vegetable, and the comedian unveiled a large bowl of potato salad.
The duo failed spectacularly at Gears of War 4, but they excelled at trash talk, like Khalifa saying: Im gonna fuck your lunch up. Their adventures grew more hilarious as they continued to smoke, with the rapper marveling that one of the games vivid landscapes looked like a Bob Ross painting.
Gears of War 4 is out October 11th. As Pitchfork reports, the game features Run the Jewels Killer Mike and El-P as downloadable, playable characters.
