Everybody is talking about Steve Harveys Sunday night blunder. Even Magic Johnson, for some reason.
Just in case you werent watching last nights Miss Universe pageant (whats wrong with you?!?) or have managed to stay off the Internet in the 12 hours since the competition concluded, let us bring you up to speed. On Sunday, Harvey who hosted Miss Universe 2015 had a cringe-inducing live TV moment for the ages, when he crowned Miss Colombia as the winnerwhen she was actually the first runner-up.
So as Ariadna Gutierrez stood there basking in her triumph, a mortified Harvey was forced to announce that he had made a mistake, de-crown Miss Colombia and announce that Miss Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach, was the actual winner. Needless to say, it was pretty awkward (as was his since-deleted tweet afterward).

Because it was the biggest thing to happen on an otherwise sleepy Sunday night, Twitter was out in full force in the aftermath of the event. Everybodys favorite Crying Jordan meme made a grand return, the NFLs referees made yet another mistake and Odell Beckham Jr. bounced backfrom his shitshow with Josh Norman to make the biggest catch of his career.

The Washington Wizards also weighed-in on the topic, saying theyre glad Harvey wasnt the announcer for the 2010 NBA Draft when they tooksuperstar John Wall with the No. 1 pick. I bet they wish Harvey was calling the 2001 NBA Draft, though, huh?

Fortunately for Harvey, it wasnt all laughing and pointing. Former NFL running back Emmitt Smith, who was one of the judges for the contest, and Lakers legend Earvin Magic Johnson tried to put a positive spin on the entire debacle by jumping to his side.
We all make mistakes. @IAmSteveHarvey you owned it. Lets celebrate the new @MissUniverse @piawurtzbach #MissUniverse2015
