Leave it to Jimmy Fallon to put a frat party spin on The Price Is Right. OnThursdays episode of The Tonight Show,the host challengedfellow Saturday Night Live alum Jason Sudeikis to a round of Drinko, a booze-themed version of the Bob Barker classic Plinko. The duo take turns dropping discs down a board into Solo cups filled with assorted drinks from the standard (beer, tequila) to the sickening (pickle juice, pea soup) forming bizarre cocktails that their opponents must drink. Meanwhile, announcer Steve Higgins voices Drinko, a perverted robot who constantly tells the contestants to mount him and drop their discs.
Sudeikis disc drop results in the gross-sounding Capri Sun-bubble tea blend. If you puke, we put it right back in, the actor warns, but Fallon takes the plunge like a champ. Fallon fires back by creating the mutant wine-spritzer-bubble-tea. Why is bubble tea a thing? Sudeikis cracks. Is that an astronaut thing? (At one point, after a disc gets stuck in the board, Sudeikis is forced to Fonz it by smacking the contraption like Henry Winkler would a Coke machine.)
Fallon and Sudeikis end the gross game by teaming for a drop, arriving at the more palatable beer and peppermint schnapps. But since its more fun to watch somebody toss back a revolting beverage, Sudeikis ends the segment with tequila and a pickle juice chaser.
The Tonight Show host debuted Drinko in July with actor Paul Rudd, and their cocktails like tequila gravy were even more gag-worthy.
