Warner Bros. has released an extended version of the trailer forGravity, Alfonso Cuarns upcoming outer space thriller, and its a frightening look at what happens when more things go wrong than in Apollo 13.

The clip opens with a piece of debris flying from the recesses of space toward theExplorerspacecraft orbiting Earth, along with ominous words from Houston: Mission, abort. From there, things go increasingly haywire as more giant objects bombard two astronauts, Dr. Ryan Stone (played by Sandra Bullock) and Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney), who are clinging to the outside of their ship, their radioed voiceovers panicking more and more. When something hitsExplorer, Dr. Stone detaches and tumbles into space, receding into the distance until shes nothing more than a white, flailing dot.
