The episode ignited intense reactions from fanswith far-reaching developments that affected a slew of major players on the show, including Williams character Arya Stark. Aryas mother, Catelyn Stark, and older brother Robb were a particular focus of the so-called red wedding hosted by Walder Frey (a scene that featureda cameo from Coldplay drummer Will Champion).
