American Horror Story May Feature Donald Trump Character in New Season


American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy said the seventh season of the FX anthology series will center around the 2016 election.

During an interview on Bravos Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Murphy said, I dont have a title, but the season that we begin shooting in June is going to be about the election that we just went through. I think that will be interesting for a lot of people. Murphy didnt offer any other details about the new season, though when asked if there would be a Donald Trump character, he bluntly replied, maybe.

Throughout its seven-season run, American Horror Storyhas been loosely tied to various historical events. Season One incorporated the infamousElizabeth Short/Black Dahlia murder, Season Three focused onthe descendants of the witches who survived the Salem Witch Trials and most recently, Season Six, incorporated elements of the eerie disappearance of the 1590 Roanoke Colony.
