The Mike Fleiss-directed documentary which hits Netflix on Friday, May 22nd traces Weirschildhood in Palo Alto, California through his work with the Dead and beyond, paying extra attention to his creative partnership with bandmate Jerry Garcia. In the trailer, Weir summarizes their deep connection on the electric guitar:I could intuit and be there when he got there with a little surprise for him, he says.
