Kristen Wiig returns to Saturday Night Live this weekend to make her hosting debut on the show, and in this preview clip, the former cast member gets pumped up with Fred Armisen. Wiig and Armisen riff on characters like Jump-Roping Rhonda and mean veterinarian Annabel Johnson in the first bit, and Armisen slaps Wiig for leaving the show to soul-search in the second. Wiig also jokes that shes been living in the SNL studio since her departure, and orders an SNL promo on the phone. Later, Wiig and Armisen diffuse a serious situation and bust a move.
Kristen Wiig, Will Ferrell to Team on Indie Comedy
Wiig will be accompanied on the May 11th episode by musical guest Vampire Weekend, whose new album Modern Vampires of the City is due May 14th. The actress has also signed on for the forthcoming Anchorman sequel, due December 20th. Shes also teaming with Will Ferrell for an upcoming indie comedy project.
