Watch Uproarious Trailer for Mr. Show Non-Reunion With Bob & David

Mr. Shows Bob Odenkirk and David Cross new sketch comedy series, titled simply With Bob and David, will premiere on Netflix on November 13th, and the comedy duo have shared the first look at the hijinks that they have planned for their non-reunion.

In the trailer, the pair spoof everything from overblown tech announcements to film noir detective films to theHeaven Is for Real phenomena(through the warped gaze of Bob and Dave, the book is now titled Heaven Is Totes for Realzand Hitler is there). The trailer also shows glimpses of some of With Bob & Davids guests, including Keegan-Michael Key, Paget Brewster and Comedy Bang! Bang!s Scott Aukerman, who also worked on Mr. Show. Mr. Showcast vets Paul F. Tompkins, John Ennis and Jay Johnston also return for With Bob & David.

In March, Rolling Stone spoke to Odenkirk about working with Cross again and why the Netflix show isnt a continuation of Mr. Show. There will be no Mr. Show reunion, Odenkirk said. There will be a new sketch-comedy show featuring the writing and performing of the great and special Bob and David and please use those terms because its like King of Pop the Great and Special Bob and David. It will not be called Mr. Show, it will not have the set, the music, the logo or the construction. There will be a change in pacing and probably a more integrated bunch of ideas. And yet we are still the same people.

Odenkirk further explained the differences and similarities by using his current gig as a comparable. Better Call Saul is not Breaking Bad, but its written by the same writers and you can see connections, right? It hopefully will be quite the same as far as the relationship between the two shows, the actor said.
